“As an Indonesian brand, we are very excited to host the visit and share our best practices in the dairy farming sector to our close neighbors. With 8,000 cows and a production of 42 million liters milk per year, Greenfields is the largest integrated dairy farm in Indonesia. Our technology and integrated farming management system, has enabled us to expand our business to Southeast Asia and beyond,” said Heru, Head of Dairy Farm of Greenfields.
Minister Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek was also accompanied by Dato' Mohd Sallehhuddin Hassan (Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry of Malaysia), Dato' Dr. Quaza Nizamuddin Hassan Nizam (Deputy General Director of Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia), and Mr. Hisham Abdul Hamid (Press Secretary to Minister).

Greenfields Dairy Farm applies international standards which are on par with – or even exceeds - dairy farming standards in developed countries.
The Ministry’s entourage was particularly interested to examine that Greenfields Integrated Dairy Farm is equipped with automatic milking equipment, which guarantees hygienic and high quality dairy products that can be delivered directly from the milk processing facilities.
“In Greenfields, we are very stringent in providing continuous control of the quality of milk. All our white milk is free from any additives, preservatives, antibiotic, hormones or any other additives whatsoever. The Malaysian government visit to our farming was such an honor for us. We hope that Indonesia can become a model for other countries,” added Heru.
