	Efficient Production System: We contribute towards hunger reduction in Emerging Asia by breeding healthy animals, using resources efficiently and minimising waste and emissions. These efforts ensure that we produce staple proteins efficiently and responsibly to feed people with nutritious and affordable protein foods.
	People Development: As a leading agri-food producer, we create jobs through our large-scale operations and promote infrastructure development around our operating units. We are committed to strengthening the professionalism and competencies of our employees. At the same time, we provide training programmes, technical assistance as well as agri-business education programmes to strengthen competences of our partner farmers and, ultimately, improve the economic capacity of the community.
	Improving Nutrition: Through our integrated industrialised operations and extensive geographical reach, we facilitate people’s access to affordable nutritious proteins and provide greater food safety throughout a traceable supply chain. Through our Japfa for Kids programme we also encourage communities to adopt a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

To promote awareness of our sustainability strategy and pillars, we organise socialisation initiatives across the Group for our senior management, our employees as well as our contract farmers.

To track our progress, we implemented the Japfa Sustainability Reporting System that collects quantitative data on sustainability KPIs throughout the organisation.
